File Recover is one more powerful tool designed by PC Tools. This easy-to-use software, allows the user to recover any lost files or data that have been accidentally deleted from the computer. Download the free trial version and see how the program works. To begin with, in the main screen you have several options. Among them, if you click on Status, you will see that there are two actions to choose from, to start the quick scan or to do the advanced scan, in this last case you will be able to choose to run a Deep, Physical or Quick scan. You can also select the scan location, and the filter options, which will come handy if you know the name of the file you want to recover and its size. In the Settings option, you can adjust the settings for the General, Scan/Recover, Repair and Language options. The available languages are English, German or Spanish. The program also permits you to set filters for your search in this section and Activate Logging, as well. Files or data can be recovered from different partitions, unallocated clusters, or the hard drive. Once, the files have been found, you may recover them all, or select the ones you want, since a complete list is displayed for you to see.
